Digital Art Summer School 2020

As part of The Carrigtwohill Project, we ran an online digital art summer school for young people of Carrigtwohill in summer 2020. We worked with 11 great young people, all with unique visions and hopes for their community. We had a lot of really interesting conversations about what they felt was important and needed attention in Carrigtwohill. These ranged from topics around spaces for teenagers, the important role of farmers in the community, the support provided by the SVP to the community, the need to recognise that we all have shared struggles and common interests, the importance of pulling together as a community against COVID19, the benefits of being close to nature, the role of the GAA in promoting teamwork and the need to encourage girls to play GAA.
